The Buckeye Ranch has been helping children and teens with emotional, behavioral and mental health issues for over fifty years. Their mission has been to offer hope, healing and companionship to kids in need. Hope, healing and companionship are the three words that embody the mission of The Buckeye Ranch. It was these three words that I used as the basis of my exploration into a new proposed mark.  

The primary identifier is comprised of children holding hands, which represents joy and celebration. The background shows a field and trees which are representative of the outdoor activities that the children at The Buckeye Ranch partake in as part of the healing and learning process. The negative space between the children represents the state of Ohio to remind us of the community aspect of The Buckeye Ranch
